One of the best way to get started with ThermIQ is to install it on a Raspberry PI. That gives a small, power efficient solution that can be left always on. The install on Raspberry PI is really streamlined an requires a minimum of Linux knowledge. The step-by-step install guide can be found here: ThermIQ2 installation on Raspberry PI
All that’s needed is a Raspberry PI or even better a Raspberry PI2, an 8GB SD-card, a power adaptor, a USB-mini-b cable and the ThermIQ board.
