KeymasterHej RH,
Anders a
KeymasterAs with everything from Thermia it’s an undocumented proprietary protocol
Anders a
KeymasterNo that is not possible either

KeymasterHi Tero,
You are absolotely right that my previous generation of hardware had an option where you could connect both ThermIQ and Thermia online. This used a a couple of low hw tricks that the old platform could support. The new generation, with MQTT support, is based on a completely different platform which unfortunately does not provide the hw tricks needed. Connecting both online and ThermIQ will cause intermittent misses in data.
In short, there is no feasible way to do this with ThermIQ-mqtt

KeymasterStart by looking at the MQTT message and locate the RSSI value in it. This is the signal strength as seen from the ThermIQ. A value below -80 will be problematic.
a value of -75 or higher is good. Having a wifi-router closer is the best option.Meassures I’ve done with ThermIQ inside gives a wifi range of about 10m.
Anders a
KeymasterIt should be the same when correctly installed

KeymasterPlease note that the indoor module is not a simple PT100 (thermistor) interface but a 2-way protocol. It usally takes about 30 sec to set the indoor temp.
You might want to try to swap 303/304. It shouldn’t make a difference but ….
Anders a
KeymasterThe HP will, by default, report ”Indoor temp 20.5” when correctly connected.
You will find how to send an MQTT message changing the ”indoor temp” in the manual on the homepage.
Anders a
KeymasterThat is two different things:
Register d50 (r32) is wanted temperature
ThermIQ-room is able to give the HP an ”actual room-temperature” thus giving the control-loop direct feedback.
Without room the ”actual room temperature” is not used but instead the return water temperature is used.Anders a
KeymasterHi PBM, I’m sorry that this cought you unaware.
Yes this is an intentional change to make it easier for us humans to read and has been syncronized with support in the ThermIQ-web poller and HomeAssistant integration as well as the documentation. The old notation is still allowed when sending writes.
It’s possible to revert back to old, hex-format, rXX by:
ThermIQ/ThermIQ-mqtt/set {”REGFMT”:0}See also the documentation at:

KeymasterHej Paxman,
Mvh

KeymasterThere are two paths, the first is easy and the one I would recommend.
Alt 1
Make a backup of the database files:
/var/sqlite/*.dbRe-install your raspberry from scratch using Raspbian 11 following the default installation instruction including configuration of ThermIQ_MQTT. When everything works, copy the db-files back and overwrite the new db-files. Then go back to Settings->Installation and do ”Update database” to ensure that you have latest db-format.
Alt 2
This is an outline of update in place (but not verified to work):
– Go to Settings->installation/Backup and make sure that ThermIQ MQTT is selected as Enabled Modules
– Open /opt/etc/Thermiq_Linux.ini and make sure that poller_ThermIQ is disabled and poller_ThermIQ_MQTT is enabled[poller_ThermIQ]
enabled = 0[poller_ThermIQ_MQTT]
enabled = 1– Go to Settings->Poller and configure the ThermIQ_MQTT, make sure you configure MQTTClient_Name with your ThermIQ name (ThermIQ_”YOURMACADR”) and MQTTNode etc according to your setup

Anders a
